Houses of worship and the buildings that surround them have been a proud segment of our business for over 30 years. Whether it’s a church, temple, or synagogue, from the largest sanctuary to the smallest parsonage, we do it all with quality and respect for the grounds being of utmost importance. Many of these structures date back over 100 years and it takes equal skill and experience to get the job done with character, precision and on time, the first time. This job in Readington, NJ included wallpaper and glue removal, repairing damaged walls and ceilings, and even replacing some sections of the walls to give the whole area a fresh surface to paint and customize.
This restoration job was no small task and we certainly had our work cut out for us. Most of the rooms had serious cracks running up the walls from floor to ceiling, not to mention all the peeling paint and falling plaster. There was also significant damage around the windows where not only did the wall need to be replaced, but we also had to waterproof the surrounding windows to prevent further damage.
Any job that involves a house of worship is always a top priority here at NJS. We feel an obligation to work with the church on the price without losing our commitment to quality. We’re also proud to volunteer some of our services in an effort to help both our seniors and the church congregation. It’s always a pleasure to have the opportunity to give something back to the community.
